Mastering
Add the final touches to your record with us.
In Detail
From Mix To Master
We’ve provided mastering services casually in the background since our inception but we wanted to formalise it and create a studio that we could use to really elevate our work. We have previously found clients sometimes spending vast amounts on mastering without achieving a worthwhile result. This service is more focussed upon our years of listening and engineering experience rather than a lavish equipment list, whilst also providing a high-end product.
We have expertise in all services ranging between traditional digital mastering to tape restoration.
We can provide mastering for all formats from streaming to CD authoring and vinyl preparation. We offer a comprehensive range of mastering services tailored to meet the needs of each project.
Studio 4 is our newly purpose built and carefully designed mastering studio featuring state of the art technology in an ideal acoustic environment. Having spent over two decades producing, engineering and mixing records, our engineers are well versed in what it takes to add the final touches to your record.

RATES
Digital Master - £40 per track
Tracks will be delivered in 44.1khz/16bit and 48khz/24bit WAV. files. We suggest that mix files be sent to us at the sample rate and bit rate of the mix session. No need to up or down sample an audio files
Additional Versions - £10 per track
Radio Edits, Clean Versions, Instrumentals etc
Additional Vinyl pre Master - £10 per track
If you are releasing music on both digital and vinyl formats it is very much recommended that you have a separate vinyl pre master. Vinyl mastering is not the same linear process as digital mastering and some digital masters will not translate well to vinyl
DDPi preparation - £10 per release
DDPi files are digital image of a CD including all relevant meta data associated with the manufacture of that release. They are still the most common way to send CD albums to be pressed
REVISIONS
We like to be as relaxed about revisions as possible so no extra charge for revisions within reason. We would however charge £15 for mastering an updated mix.
